 crown reduction

SITUATIONS WHEN A CROWN REDUCTION COULD BE CONSIDERED:

  • To Reduce the end weight on potentially dangerous limbs.

  • To Reduce the effect of wind stress on a potentially unstable tree.

  • To improve the appearance of a misshapen tree.

  • To prevent a tree from obstructing or damaging buildings and or property.

  • To enable the retention of large trees in important settings.

  • To prevent trees from interfering with overhead lines.

  • To downsize a mature trees crown in the intent of lengthening the trees lifespan.

  • To reduce a trees crown to a manageable size.

  • To increase sunlight into shaded areas.

  • To make large trees feel less dominating on small gardens.
