crown thinning

  • SITUATIONS WERE CROWN THINNING COULD BE CONSIDERED:

  • When your tree produces a lot of epicormic growth.

  • When more light is to be gained into certain area.

  • When crossing branches are causing health issues to the tree.

  • Alongside dead wooding /crown cleaning.

  • To reduce the sail effect put on branches when windy.

  • When branches are effecting Satellite signals.

  • To subtly reduce the shadowing effects of a tree.

  • To Allow bt cables to pass through a tree whiteout being chaffed.
